One of them is that true professional fulfillment comes not from following a predetermined -common- or expected- path, but from aligning your external environment with your authentic inner goals. This revelation didn’t come instantly—it emerged through years of observation, interaction, and hands-on experience in some of the most challenging projects in the Middle East.
Challenges are not solely from the organizations or organizational behavior. Sometimes few colleagues or one manager can turn a paradise into hell. Other times, the media proclaim a fake reality like family business is bad or family business is good. Moreover, our authentic preferences differs. So, some of us flourish in a highly organized and controlled environment and others can only live in chaos. An Unexpected Beginning
My journey began as an electrical engineer specializing in communications, electro-physics, and controls. Fresh out of university, I was like many young professionals—armed with technical knowledge but untested in the real world. What happened next would shape my entire career perspective.
Just two years after graduation, while working at my first major company, I was selected by the Japanese consultancy team to manage a $4 million project from scratch. It was based on one-line directive from the CTO without much details.
